Meet Our Host
Anuritta K Jha
Anuritta K Jha's journey began with winning the Channel V Get Gorgeous beauty pageant in 2007. She established herself as a supermodel, walking for designers like Sabyasachi Mukherjee and Manish Malhotra, and becoming the face of major brands including FabIndia, Fair & Lovely, and Himalaya Beauty.
Her acting career started with Gangs of Wasseypur, ranked by The Guardian as the 59th best film of the 21st century.
Her notable works include Jugni, the National Award-winning Mithila Makhana, R. Madhavan's Rocketry, and Imtiaz Ali's Thai Massage.
In web series, she has appeared in Pariwar, the Ashram series, Asur 2, and Mithya 2. Her upcoming projects include AK-47. Anuritta has also made impactful short films addressing social issues, including Unaccused and Pari and Pinocchio.
She has ventured into writing and producing, starting with her short film Holika Dahan.Her first feature film as a writer was selected for the NFDC Screenwriters' Lab. Through her talent and dedication to meaningful storytelling, Anuritta K Jha continues to make her mark across films, web series, and short films.
